Bill Lampton earned his Ph.D. at Ohio University, and then taught Speech Communication at the University of Georgia—where he started helping speakers take control of their stage fright and speak with newfound confidence. Dr. Lampton spent twenty-two years in management at the vice presidential level. Often he watched supervisors perform far short of their potential because they were fearful when they directed departmental meetings. In 1997, he launched his company, Championship Communication. He has served as the keynote speaker for numerous conventions, directed seminars, and provided individual coaching to help leaders learn to speak confidently, clearly, and convincingly.
