Inhaltsangabe

Chip Crandle, nobody’s idea of a hero, is considering creeping into John and Scarlet Bradley’s terrifying house and executing them. Chip has irrefutable proof his neighbors in the North Idaho woods have beaten the system and gotten away with something for which they deserve to die. He wasn’t looking for this, but he’s sure it’s his last chance to erase a lifetime of cowardice and regret.
Could killing someone really be the right thing to do? Yes, or no? Damnation, or redemption? And which course leads where?
Chip’s life-or-death decision throws him into uncharted territory, where the right thing isn’t what he expected it should be. On Death and Flying presents a seemingly average man’s emotional exploration into his own worth, culminating in a mind-expanding, justice-dealing road trip from the Idaho Panhandle to Oklahoma’s Tornado Alley.
It’s an unforseen adventure, down an unmapped road, to a destination you could never expect.

Über die Autorin bzw. den Autor

Tim Martin lives in the Monarch Mountains outside Sandpoint, Idaho —about an hour’s drive from Washington, or Montana, or Canada, and a long way from the Iowa farm where he grew up. Tim relates well to dogs and cats, fly-fishermen, cold beer, hot coffee, dead spots in cell coverage, and people who care enough to listen after they ask a question. On Death and Flying was inspired by real-life friends who adopted two abused children. Tim continues to have a deep-seated belief that life is unexplainable magic and everything works pretty well when you don’t try too hard. He is at work on his next novel.
