Inhaltsangabe

This collection offers 21 sparkling little gems of poetry in the lyric tradition. Brief, full of authentic feeling, with lines that are more like a song. The work begins with poems about the situation of Julian Assange, Editor-In-Chief of WikiLeaks who has been unlawfully detained for six years.

From there the reader is introduced to a selection of poems about nature, death, love, and revolution. Honed with four decades of poetic practice, the writer captures little moments of sorrow and beauty.

Other books by Oskolkoff include her first collection of poetry "Sacramentals," and "Voyage to the Sun, the Tao te Ching for Children." Please visit her weblog at https://ruthoskolkoff.wordpress.com/

Über die Autorin bzw. den Autor

Ruth Ann Oskolkoff was born and raised in Seattle. She likes to walk around town and look at trees, talk to people she meets on the street, attend as many protests on progressive causes as possible, drink beer until late at night discussing philosophy and politics, scribble pen marks on pieces of paper, and in general take advantage of being alive while trying to leave the world slightly better than she found it.
