Carol Goss, an omnivorous reader from an early age, discovered Jane Eyre and Elizabeth Bennett at age ten. Those feisty heroines sparked her lifelong love of romance, the Regency and, of course England where she lived for a year and where she's returned many timesl She now lives on a pond in Michigan with her wonderful husband and champion proofreader as well as her crazy but lovable cats in a house she designed. When she isn't sequestered in her office writing the kinds of books she loves to read, she enjoys gardening, cooking, reading, and researching the Regency. She also loves history, baseball and hockey (Go Red Wings!), and obviously, travel anywhere in the world.
