Experiencing a war torn Europe, O.E. Simon was able to see the human being at his best and at his worst. He survived the Soviet prison camps and traveled through Mongolia. He then returned to Germany to finish a classical education in literature. Seeking a new country where he could put his ideals and dreams into motion, hoping to participate in a better future for mankind, he crossed the ocean to North America, where he has been teaching the art of Temple Kung-fu for over thirty years. After teaching more than a quarter of a million students hoping that his message of loyalty, kindness and compassion while doing your best, "Succeeding with people, not over them" had been planted, he retired in seclusion in British Columbia, Canada. He continues to write and is invited to travel and give lectures throughout North America.
