Since its launch in 1985 DiscDrive has become a Canadian institution, with hundreds of thousands of loyal listeners from coast to coast (and even more listening daily across the northern U.S.).

Jurgen Gothe is an award-winning radio broadcaster and the CBC's only double-gold-medal winning program host, with two such awards from the prestigious New York International Radio Festival. Over 100 publications have carried Gothe's features and columns over the decades, and he continues as Food and Wine Editor of NUVO magazine and as the groundbreaking wine columnist for Vancouver's the Georgia Straight. He is also the author of Some Acquired Tastes.
