Michele Haiken is a literacy teacher at Rye Middle School and an adjunct professor at Manhattanville College. She is a frequent speaker, as well as a contributor to the ISTE book Teaching Literacy in the Digital Age. For the ISTE book Gamify Literacy, Haiken collaborated with game developers, teachers, librarians and technology coordinators to demonstrate how teachers can use gaming tools and activities to improve literacy and content learning.L. Robert Furman, Ed.D., is an educator, leader, speaker and the author of Technology, Reading & Digital Literacy. He has received numerous awards, including being named one of the National School Board Association’s 2015 “20 to Watch” in technology education.
