During his 44 years working in Kansas schools, Max Frazier has served as a middle school teacher, university instructor, educational technology specialist and technology coordinator. He earned a doctorate in educational administration and leadership at Kansas State University, and is currently an associate professor in the School of Education at Newman University in Wichita. Frazier’s interests include technology leadership, professional development and working with preservice and inservice teachers to enhance teaching and learning with technology. He has been active in a variety of educational organizations at the state and national levels. He recently completed nine years as a board member with the Mid-America Association for Computers in Education. He’s the author or co-author of all four editions of The Technology Coordinator’s Handbook.
Doug Hearrington spent over a dozen years as a classroom teacher and technology coordinator and more than 15 years working in university faculty and administrative positions. He earned a doctorate in educational technology from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, and is currently an associate professor and the online learning coordinator for James Madison University in Harrisonburg, Virginia. He is the co-author of the third and fourth editions of The Technology Coordinator’s Handbook.
