The Motif Reference Manual is a complete programmer's reference for the Motif toolkit from the Open Software Foundation (OSF). Motif has become the standard user interface for X Window System applications, and the Motif toolkit makes it easy for programmers to build applications that conform with the Motif "look and feel."
Dan Heller's Motif Programming Manual has long been considered the most authoritative and insightful work on Motif. Now, with the addition of this companion reference manual, programmers can dispense completely with the original OSF documentation. This book is designed to be used with Volume 6A, Motif Programming Manual, which describes how to build applications using the Motif toolkit and provides a complete tutorial with programming examples.
