The conference was held in Tehran, Iran, in October 2003, with the expressed purpose of bringing together researchers with connections to Iranian logicians and promoting further research in mathematical logic in Iran.

Über die Autorinnen und Autoren

Ali Enayat , Department of Mathematics and Statistics, American University, Washington, D.C. Iraj Kalantari , Department of Mathematics, Western Illinois University, Macomb. Mojtaba Moniri, Department of Mathematics, Tarbiat Modarres University, Tehran.



Ali Enayat earned his Ph.D. from the University of Wisconsin, Madison in 1984. He is currently a Professor of Mathematics at American University.Iraj Kalantari earned his Ph.D. from Cornell Univeristy in 1976 and is currently Chair of the Department of Mathematics at Western Illinois University.Mojtaba Moniri earned his Ph.D. from the University of Minnesota, Minneapolis in 1994. He is currently Vice Head of the School of Mathematics at the Institute for Studies in Theoretical Physics and Mathematics in Tehran.
