Inhaltsangabe

For over 22 years, Modern Guns has been the standard reference for gun dealers, hunters, sportsmen, and firearms enthusiasts all across the United States. This popular guide contains model name, gauge or caliber, action, finish on stock and forearm, barrel, cylinder or magazine, sights, weight and length, and comments. The updated edition features current market values for over 2,500 models of rifles, shotguns, and handguns, with over 1,800 illustrations. Loaded with information on guns from 1900 to the present, values are given for very good and excellent condition guns as well as suggested retail prices for guns still in production. REVIEW: This large, softbound volume is one of the best of its type on the market today. Well illustrated, and with only two estimated values - for excellent and very good condition arms - the reader has at least a ballpark idea of what a rifle, shotgun, or handgun is worth. Collectors, dealers, and arms students in general should find this book a worthwhile investment and useful reference.
