Inhaltsangabe

The only guide created by the developers of the MCAT exam, you get insight, tips, and valuable guidance to help you prepare for the exam. This new edition of the guide is updated to reflect the changes in the 2013 MCAT exam, and provides current data on MCAT scores and GPAs, and score changes on retake exams. Developed with feedback from focus groups conducted among aspiring and current medical students, the guide includes 146 questions from actual MCAT exams, none of which appear on practice tests or self-assessments. All questions include detailed explanations of both the correct and incorrect answers. There are seven chapters about the exam, registration, and test day procedures; how scores figure in admissions; updated data on what percentage of applicants were admitted to medical school, based on MCAT scores and GPAs combined; and a look at how MCAT scores factor into the admissions decision, with insights from a former associate dean of admissions.
