The images have been carefully selected by photographic historian George Sinclair, who traveled across Europe to mine some of the most obscure historical collections for a wide variety of unique, never-before-published, and visually and historically intriguing images. Über die Autorin bzw. den Autor
George Sinclair is Executive Director of Virtual Picture Desk, a company that provides content management and source services to Discovery Channel, Encyclopaedia Britannica and more. He was formerly vice president of asset management at Getty Images and director of strategic development at Corbis. He lives in Chicago, IL.
