Everything you ever wanted to know about the Yankees and more. Who was the first manager of the Yankees? Who were the MVPs in each of the Yankees' 25 world championships? How many perfect games have Yankee pitchers thrown? These questions, along with thousands more, are answered in The Yankee Encyclopedia: Fifth Edition, the most voluminous and complete book ever produced about the Bronx Bombers.

All of the all-time great Yankee legends -- Babe Ruth, Lou Gehrig, Joe DiMaggio, Mickey Mantle, Reggie Jackson, and Don Mattingly, along with 1999 heroes Derek Jeter, Mariano Rivera, David Cone, Bernie Williams, and Tino Martinez -- are profiled in this book.

Also contained within the nearly 600 pages are more than 200 photographs. Without a doubt, no Yankee fan should be without The Yankee Encyclopedia: Fifth Edition.
