Charlie Stubbs is the offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach at the University of Tulsa, a position he assumed prior to the 2003 season. With almost two decades experience as a collegiate assistant coach, including nine seasons as an offensive coordinator and three years as passing game coordinator, Stubbs is widely respected as one of the top offensive minds in the game. Prior to joining the Golden Hurricane's staff, Stubbs spent three seasons (1998-2000) as passing game coordinator and quarterbacks coach at Alabama. While with the Crimson Tide, Stubbs was named the SEC Offensive Coordinator of the Year in 1999. A 1978 graduate of Brigham Young University, Stubbs began his collegiate coaching career at his alma mater as a graduate assistant on LaVell Edwards' staff in 1983. Before that, he served as a high school coach at three different schools in South Carolina. Stubbs' extensive career has also included coaching stints at UNLV, Tennessee-Martin, Memphis, and Oregon State.
