George M Beylerian is president of Material Connexion Inc, a New York based resource centre for material innovation. A leading innovator in contemporary design, he has organised design exhibitions that have appeared at the Cooper-Hewitt Museum, The National Building Museum, and the Guggenheim. Jeffrey J Osborne is a design consultant in New York specialising in product design, merchandising, and events planning. He is Executive Director of the International Design Conference in Aspen.
