Malin Prupas, M.D., F.A.C.P., is a board-certified rheumatologist and internist with over twenty years of experience caring for patients with many forms of arthritis. He is currently the senior rheumatologist with Arthritis Consultants, and the medical director of an osteoporosis center. Dr. Prupas is an associate clinical professor at the University of Nevada School of Medicine, as well as a consultant for several major pharmaceutical companies. Over the past fifteen years, he has been the principal investigator for over one hundred clinical drug trials of new medicines for the treatment of arthritis. Dr. Prupas is a Fellow of the American College of Physicians and the American College of Rheumatology.Dr. Prupas regularly discusses the management of arthritis with patients and their families in a way that instills trust, belief, and hope, despite what most of the time is an illness that significantly changes their quality of life.
