An independent editor, photo researcher, writer, and book producer, Amy Pastan has been responsible for the publication of hundreds of titles. Before starting her own business in 1998, she held staff positions at the National Gallery of Art and the Smithsonian Institution Press, where she developed an award-winning list of books in photography and fine arts. In addition to creating and producing works in all genres for print publishers, she is currently writing features for the Web and providing content for film and digital media.
