As parents and grandparents, we know that timeless tales generate endless questions about our holiday traditions, such as "Where did Saint Nicholas come from?" "How does he visit so many children in just one night?" "Why does he leave gifts for girls and boys?"

The First Flight of Saint Nicholas is a continuation of The Nicholas Stories, which are about a boy who had a very unselfish wish. His wish was granted and mankind was forever changed.

In The Land Beyond Yon, Nicholas met the Elves. He discovered that making children's wishes come true was not his only task. How did he teach reindeer to fly? What was the magic of the silver bells? Why was the littlest reindeer so heartbroken? How important is the Spirit of Christmas? We learn that all things are possible, if we believe.

The Nicholas Stories will lead your family on a heartwarming journey to a place where gifts of love explain the true meaning of Christmas.
