He is currently a statehouse reporter for the Fort Worth Star-Telegraph and, before that, he was a reporter for The Houston Chronicle, where he was nominated for a Pulitzer prize. Mr. Dyer is also the author of Hustler Days. He lives in Austin, Texas.
