Image Makers

Images rule fashion. They are the primary delivery system for a designer’s creation. Fashion illustrators and photographers play a unique role in the fashion industry. While capturing the essence of a designer’s collection on a page or a screen to sell and inspire, they are simultaneously interpreting style from a personal perspective that filters through social history and contemporary culture—whether they realize it or not. As a result, illustrators and photographers have become a vital part of the evolution of fashion, often influencing designers, media, and consumers through innovative advertising and artistic editorial work.
