To my knowledge, I believe that I am the first Albanian author who has shown an interest in writing horror stories. I was born on January 27, 1967 in the small village of Livadhi Struga in Macedonia. I finished elementary and middle school in my hometown of Livadhi. I graduated high school in Prishtina Kosova in 1987, and started college in Prishtina.

As a result of the political situation in Kosova, I had to quit school and stop my studies. I currently reside with my husband and two sons in New Jersey. Ever since I could remember I have always been interested in topics relating to horror, whether it was by reading horror books or by watching such films.

I first wrote and published Why Did You Fall in Love with Me? in Albanian, but my dream was, and has always been, to have my book published and recognized in English. This is my first book and I personally believe that once people read it, they will be fascinated and intrigued by this story – just as I am.
