Reseña del editor:
Dr. Addison Greenway is used to a bit of turmoil as a human rights activist, but direct threats are new for her. When a good friend is murdered and a bomb discovered in Addison's office, she grudgingly accepts police protection. When she stubbornly refuses to go to a safe house temporarily, the agent must move in with her. Which is awkward since Addison shares a house with her sister, Holly. To make matters worse, the feds choose the most irritating agent.
Federal Agent Ruth Davis is assigned to protect Addison. Her cover story: she's Holly's new lover. Never mind that Holly's straight--it just has to look good from afar and keep Ruth close. As the investigations heat up, so does the tumultuous relationship between Ruth and Addison. When more evidence surfaces, it seems Addison would be the perfect bait to bring down a human-trafficking crime ring, an idea nobody likes. Ruth's a professional, but are her feelings for Addison clouding her judgement? Is Addison's dedication to justice clouding hers?
