Über die Autorin bzw. den Autor

George MacDonald (1824-1905) was a Scottish author, poet, and Christian minister whose fairy tales and fantasy novels had a profound influence on later generations of writers. His imaginative works-including The Princess and the Goblin, At the Back of the North Wind, and Phantastes-combined rich storytelling with symbolism and moral reflection. MacDonald's writings helped lay the foundations of modern fantasy literature and inspired authors such as C. S. Lewis, J. R. R. Tolkien, and G. K. Chesterton.
