In over 20 years as a coach in Illinois, Jacobs has rebuilt three high school gridiron programs and has developed one football program from the ground up. In 2006, he served as the president of the Illinois High School Football Coaches Association. One of the most respected interscholastic coaches in the game, Jacobs is a much sought-after speaker at instructional football clinics across the country
