Bo Huston (1959 - 1993) was born in Chagrin Falls, Ohio. A three-time Lambda Literary Award nominee, he was the author of two novels and two short story collections. A columnist for the San Francisco Bay Times, he was involved in the initial formation of the LGBT literary conference Out/Write and participated in the first March on Washington, DC. Huston received his HIV diagnosis in 1988 and, in diminishing health, orchestrated his own exit on May 24th, 1993.
