Leonardo Ferragamo is the son of eponymous luxury company founder Salvatore Ferragamo. He entered the family business at twenty and in 1976 created the shoes and mens clothing and accessories departments. He was then in charge of the companys international development in Europe, Asia, and South America. In 2000, he became CEO of Palazzo Feroni Finanziaria SpA, managing real estate and hospitality. Ferragamo is also founder and chairman of Associazione Partners Palazzo Strozzi, which works with the city of Florence to promote cultural activities and the arts.
