Decades ago, his family was killed in a napalm attack during the Vietnam War, yet Vu still struggles with his violent past. Now a skilled assassin and a veteran of countless espionage operations, he has a chance at redemption. . . The global drug trade, mind control and the corporate media are all connected as Vu, his underworld associates and the powerbrokers work their evil magic. Framed in historical events from Vietnam to the 1983 Invasion of Lebanon to the Gulf War and culminating in the events of 9/1l, it's a winner-take-all proposition, and murder and mayhem make for a surprise ending in this epic tale of espionage and suspense.

Von der hinteren Coverseite

"Has the potential for becoming a blockbuster… no contrived wannabe 'savior,' no chase, none of the gimmicks producing the breathless suspense of the thriller. Instead, the story seems authentic… reminiscent of The DaVinci Code… undeniably has the ring of truth." -- Lois Wells Santalo, Midwest Book Review "Aossey takes the reader into an altered-reality version of the early 1990s . . . Just be glad it's fiction." -- Dan Clark, The Iowa City Press Citizen "A chilling tale of greed, corruption, and terror in the upper echelons of a shadow government run by men devoid of conscience, Instruments of the State is a page-turner that will hold the reader's interest to the last." -- Michael Gillespie, The Independent Monitor "Fictional reality or realistic fiction? An intriguing and imaginative read from both perspectives." -- Frank Scott, The Coast News
