As a special class of e-learning systems, intelligent tutoring systems support and improve the learning and teaching of domain-specific knowledge, respecting learner individuality as in traditional one-to-one tutoring. Intelligent Tutoring Systems in E-Learning Environments: Design, Implementation, and Evaluation presents the e-learning community with innovative research concerning the background of intelligent tutoring systems in the new educational era. This scholarly reference provides researchers and e-system developers with a survey of the latest trends and practical experiences in student modeling.
