Lawrence calls upon her twenty-five years of public school experience—including coordinating an after-school kids’ cooking program and coordinating classroom healthy snack units—to create the recipes in Fairy Foods. A mother of three, the author lives with her husband in Brattleboro, Vermont, where she enjoys walking her dog, gardening, and cooking with her grandchildren.
