The tiny star tries very hard to be as bright and beautiful as the rest of the stars in the sky. No matter how hard he tries he doesn't seem to be able to reach his goal. He speaks with the Moon, who is wise and watches over the nightly sky and the Moon encourages him to keep trying and never to give up. After many years, wonderful things happen to the tiny star and he learns a valuable lesson on believing in yourself and never giving up.
