Jean L. Blosser, EdD, CCC-SLP/R, ASHA Fellow, NAP Fellow, is an SLP, entrepreneur, author, and leader in school services. She is passionate about creating systems to foster positive outcomes for children with communication disabilities through a combination of evidence-based practice, educationally relevant intervention, spectrum of approaches for service delivery, and interprofessional collaboration. Dr. Blosser encourages education colleagues to provide high quality, outcomes-based instruction for children with disabilities. To Dr. Blosser, collaboration is essential! As President of Blosser Consulting, she consults nationally with schools, universities, professional organizations, and education staffing and product businesses to develop solutions to service delivery challenges. Her awards include Fellow of The American Speech-Language-Hearing Association, The American Council on Education, and the National Academies of Practice. She has published many resources to support parents and teachers including Let's Talk Today! A Calendar of Daily Activities for Developing Language Skills at Home and Let's Celebrate and Learn Each Day! Her career experiences have included Associate Provost, Speech and Hearing Center Director, Professor at The University of Akron, and VP of Therapy Programs and Quality at a national education solutions company. She serves on several national committees and advisory councils.
