It was as if we were there and things were really happening. It was an amazing thought. But that allowed for a giant leap forward from walking on the Moon. But what happened between walking on the Moon and visiting other solar systems? There would have to be a first time, a first mission out of our solar system. The Genesis mission was that first time. A lot was learned, and tragedy narrowly escaped. Future missions will rely on what we found out there, and in some ways, they will know what to expect.
