Aaron Derr is a writer based just outside of Dallas, Texas. He has more than 15 years of experience writing and editing magazines and books for kids of all ages.

Gary Lacoste has designed games for clients including Hasbro, Nickelodeon, and LEGO. He has also illustrated more than 25 books and is a regular contributor to kids' magazines including Highlights, TIME for Kids, and Clubhouse Jr. He lives in western Massachusetts.
