TARA ADAMS is the founder of ASL Expressions and an outspoken advocate of sign language not only for the Deaf, but also for individuals who struggle to communicate via spoken language. She recently launched SigningWithAutism.com and WeCanSign.com, both with the aim of spreading awareness for sign language as a communication tool for nonverbal or speech-delayed children.
