Inhaltsangabe

We have a short time on this earth. What will you do with it? Your choices affect others who are watching...family, friends, co-workers, even children not yet born will be influenced by what you do while you're here. Anchored chronicles the lives of Russell Treiber and Dominic Legato, two boys from New Jersey who spent over two years aboard an aircraft carrier and a destroyer during the height of the Second World War, miraculously returning home as men. Part naval history, part memoir, all inspirational, it's a story they told without words until they met 45 years later. Anchored shares the experiences that gave their lives rich meaning and purpose, as well as perspective and deep appreciation for what genuinely matters: leaving a personal legacy for generations to come.
