This manual focuses on teaching Italian as a foreign language in the academic field, taking into consideration the various subjects and disciplines that can be found in a university course in Italian Studies. It also seeks to deal with the various teaching problems and reflects on the disciplines as well as alternative proposals for teaching.

Über die Autorin bzw. den Autor

Alberto Regagliolo is an Assistant Professor of Linguistics at UKSW University, a translator, a CELI Instructor, and a graphic designer. He holds a Post-Doc in Italian Linguistics (Universidade de Lisboa) and is qualified to teach Italian, Latin, and Spanish. He holds an MBA in Business Executive; He is an expert in commerce and trade and specialises in Montessori Pedagogy. He collaborates with the Spanish Ministry of Education, Cefire, for the planning of courses for teaching Latin and with the Teledántem-CORINÉI Research Group on the acquisition of the Italian language. His main research interests are teaching and acquisition of the Italian and the Latin language, vulgarity, business Italian, play in education and the creation of language teaching materials. He has published four manuals in the Italian language for advanced university students and one for teaching Latin. He has worked at various centres, including Oxford University, Universidad de Alicante, Italian Cultural Institute in Krakow, Adam Mickiewicz University, High School of Philology in Wroclaw, and different schools in Spain and Morocco. He also carried out research at the Universidade de Lisboa and St. Andrews University.
