Inhaltsangabe

Like Superman using his X-ray vision, Grandpa and his spiritually curious grandson, Charlie, fire up a God-given superpower - Heart-ray vision. An ability to see God on the move with our hearts. This intergenerational story chronicles Charlie's adventure-packed fun at the lake with his grandparents. Charlie captures keepsake photos on his phone of discovered "God Sightings" - real evidence of God's presence and blessing in amazing, extraordinary ways. He learns from Grandpa that God Sightings effectively connect our spiritual life with our everyday life. By using his heart's "eyes," Charlie won't miss the cool things God is doing. Grandpa makes the most of the opportunity to share his faith and speak into the life of young Charlie. The bond between them grows stronger. God rewards them both - Charlie accepts Jesus as his Lord and Savior; Grandpa becomes a key influencer in his budding faith. So, "get your Heart-Ray vision on" with them. See what God is up to next! This is the first book written by Alan Alesius, a new evangelical Christian author. Alan is a previous winner of the Christian Writers Association Short Story Contest sponsored by Xulon Press. Alan's passion for intergenerational sharing of the Christian faith embodies this work. His heart's desire is twofold - that spiritually curious kids seek to know more of God, and that adults seek to share with the next generation God's love, their legacy of faith, and how the Lord has made a difference in their lives. Alan acknowledges the fine artistic talents of dear, longtime friend, Jill Rees, illustrator. Jill's sketches on the chapter title pages of this book bring focus to the content. Illustration captions also provide insight into our amazing and loving God.
