The fourth essay concerns health care and its many components, arguably the most important concern in a person’s lifetime. The final essay discusses the reality of retirement, a time in life we all face and the need to plan for it long before it happens.

OK Boomer! gathers the informative insights of five aging Baby Boomers; while they cannot provide all the answers to existential questions, they offer a mindful perspective gleaned from a wide range of professional successes and lived experiences.

Über die Autorin bzw. den Autor

Bernard Mansheim was born on the leading edge of the Baby Boom generation. Having enjoyed a long professional career in medicine and business, he was among the first of his generation to face the challenges of retirement. The questions of When, Where, and How became his singular focus as the door to retirement opened. He dutifully studied options with his wife as they entered a heretofore unknown world. One product of their experience is a novel about a couple who confront the realities of retirement. Bernard previously authored a novel, Still a Doctor, which chronicled the professional life of a physician. Though fictional, it parallels his experiences through the course of his medical career.
