He is present when things do not go as they should. When we fall, He is nearby to pick us up and brush us off to run again. Our assurance in Him is, He will be there to hand us the trophy of eternity when we cross our finish line.

David Romero is a believer and follower of Jesus Christ for more than forty years. His formal education is in fine arts from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. He was a serious runner for more than twenty five years. In that time he spent about two hundred and fifty hours per year running. With the mind of an artist, his running and spiritual growth, the Holy Spirit revealed to him the analogy illustrated in this book. Our course of life closely parallels the running of a marathon. Where does the race end and real life begins?
