Inhaltsangabe

The third time is the charm and Floating Gears is a third chance to sit behind the wheel of a big rig. Ricky Johnson dreams of driving around the country with her husband, in an eighteen-wheeler, until her boyfriend throws a monkey wrench into her plans. Then she leaves the road to pacify the love of her life, Roper Carson. When the Air Force sticks Roper somewhere in the Middle East, nothing’s left to keep her in Las Vegas. If she can’t have her first love, she’ll take her second. So she drives up to Salt Lake City to go back to her old life at Drift Trucking. She’s positive when Roper returns that he’ll join her on the road and they’ll drive off into the sunset together. Ricky’s having the time of her life, until she finds she may have driven a little too far. Floating Gears finishes Ricky Johnson’s story, as she burns sunshine, looking for her next adventure.
