Inhaltsangabe

Texans are proud of the ranching traditions of their state. The Texas ranchers presented in this book helped develop some of those traditions. They provided some colorful chapters in the state's history. Famous ranchers include such notables as Charles Goodnight, Richard King, George W. Saunders to more modern day cattlemen such as Watt Matthews. In this book, a young rancher introduces the subject of ranching. Then, ten famous Texas ranchers are described. The lives of the ten are very different. But they all seemed to share a deep love for the ranching way of life. You'll see why. Also includes a listing of ranching words, places to visit and more.
