Werner Neff earned his Ph.D. in Political Science from the Freie Universität Berlin and his master's degree in economics from the Universität St. Gallen in Switzerland. His professional experience includes executive leadership in the hospitality industry and later in the mortgage and lending division of a large Swiss bank.Deeply committed to democracy, political science, and economics, Neff has devoted his retirement to researching the origins, principles, and values of democratic government. He examines how the erosion of political values has shaped the American social economy and contributed to the growing divide between the wealthy and working people.
