Dear Reader, This is a true story about our journey whilst waiting for a double lung transplant. The ups and downs , the reality!I'm not a writer just a mum who wanted to share our experience. When I began this journal I didn't know what the outcome would be. Obviously I hoped it would be a spectacular ending, but deep down I also knew it might be the most horrendous heart wrenching time of our lives.I hope this journal will someday help others who inevitably have to follow the same path, and if it ever gets published then there are 3 charities that I would like to see benefit. CHIEF Support Group - a charity I help voluntarily run with other parents, the Cystic Fibrosis Trust and The Transplant service at the Newcastle Freeman Hospital.
