Our journeys on this earth will certainly be fraught with difficulties. Each of our difficulties will be unique to us, seeing as we all have different strengths and weaknesses. Yet, each of us is implored to do the same thing through every single one of our difficulties… glory in them. Why? Because if we are patient through them and learn the lessons they are teaching us, we gain experience. Each time we encounter the same obstacles, we will know how to handle them. We can also then pass that knowledge along to others. In the process, we learn how to wait upon the Lord, giving glory to Him as our faith is tested and strengthened. We learn the invaluable life skills of patience and endurance. We learn how to edify the body of Christ, doing as Paul taught the church at Ephesus to do in Ephesians 4:3 …keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. In this book, I’m going to take you through a couple of passages I have not previously taught on my YouTube channel nor written about in any of my books. We are going to begin in II Timothy 1, then head over to I Corinthians 13, taking what I’m sure will be many detours along the way. I’m excited to go on this journey, for we are going to look at opposite ends of a spectrum. Which spectrum do I mean? Most of us already understand light and darkness cannot coexist. Did you know that love and fear also cannot coexist?II Timothy 1:7 For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.
