Geoffrey Dicker is the author of “Sketches of Verbal Alchemy,” a controversial collection of “abstract poetry,” maxims and aphorisms designed to make the reader think of new possibilities to age old problems. His second book “Unfinished Lyrics,” is a collection of song lyrics he’s written. Three full length albums of his words have been recorded by singer Jim Emmons (“In the Absence of Red,” “Throwing Stars” and “So Strange”). The song “Manhunt,” performed by Jeremy Gloff, was featured in the film “Eating Out: The Open Weekend.” His art and music blog According2g.com ran over 6,000 posts that featured his world exclusive photos over the course of 5 years. Simultaneously, he amassed 2,500,000 views on his live concert video YouTube channel. “I Won the Internet!” his 3rd book, features wit, wisdom and celebrity selfies. His first novel, “Journal of Grievances,” is a raw and uncensored look into the ups and downs (both in and out of the bedroom) of a struggling, single gay male writer in New York about to turn 40. “Twisted Tales and Very Short Stories,” his 5th book, is an anthology of 200 stories that are each shorter than one page. He has taken more than 2,000 selfies with famous people and has amassed more than 25,000 autographs in his personal collection. In his spare time he designs T-shirts, writes witty banter and creates abstract paintings. "Goddamned" is his first play. Geoffrey Dicker currently resides in New York City.
