These poems wrestle with God, humanity, and the Bible from a queer and trans perspective, drawing from the author's Catholic and Presbyterian backgrounds to do so. Scripture and science, nature and personal experience mingle together in the text as bitterness melts into expectant joy and wounds yield unimaginable blessings.
