When Everything Changed is a book about covid-19 from the eyes of a child. It takes you through the things that children have missed out on but all the experiences they have gained as a result. In addition the book has illustrate beloved past times of diverse American families and their broader communities. The hope is that the book will shed light on the things we should be grateful for and the things we shouldn’t take for granted.

About the Authors Katelin Aiello-Gonzalez is from the small town of Fairhaven, Massachusetts. She graduated in 2010 from Bridgewater State University with a Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education. Katelin is married and owns a small but flourishing family childcare out of her home called It Takes a Village. Using her knowledge of how children think, she co wrote this book so that people could understand this pandemic through a child's eyes. Children see things differently then adults do and this book help bring that to light. Brittney Sousa is from New Hampshire but currently resides in the Southcoast area of Massachusetts. Brittney graduated from Keene State College with a dual bachelor's degree in Sociology and Holcaust and Genocide Studies. She later attended Boston University to earn her M.Ed in Teaching and Curriculum. Brittney is married and has a four year old son. She is an educational leader in Boston and deeply wanted to mark the moment of Covid19 to shed light on the experiences of children during the pandemic. About the Illustrator Jacob Rose is a freelance artist from Massachusetts. He went to college for photography, but decided that making a mess with paint is more fun. He is mostly known for his acrylic paintings of landscapes and pet portraits. He also enjoys designing tattoos and creating concept art for indie video games. When Everything Changed is his first experience as an illustrator.
