Millions were infected, hundreds of thousands lost their lives to the virus, and our economies were dramatically depressed. The already marginalized were left in dire circumstances and the most unsavory among us were given unprecedented access to our children and vulnerable adults on and off line. Yet, amidst this chaos each writer albeit challenged, rose up against the compounded adversities, and did not deter from sharing their truth with you. We have and will continue to be refined through this shared pandemic experience. There is a new beginning arising in the twentieth century that will bring forth the fruit of our labor amidst the famine of despair. It will bring unity, as most of us have never experienced, and the paradigm of life and work balance, will adapt. The earth and its inhabitants will begin to flourish again but this time in expectant confidence in God.
