Bishop S.Y. Younger is a preacher, teacher, evangelist, author, and community leader from central Virginia. After attending Liberty University to study English and History, he answered God's call in 2005 to plant a church, founding The Ramp Church International in Lynchburg, Virginia.As his ministry expanded, Bishop Younger established churches across the United States and internationally. He was consecrated as a bishop in 2011 and later founded One Way Churches International (OWCI), a fellowship providing spiritual oversight and leadership to pastors and ministries worldwide. He currently serves as Founder and Vice Presiding Bishop under Bishop Lorenzo Hall.Beyond the pulpit, Bishop Younger is deeply committed to community transformation. He serves as the CEO and visionary of Refuge on Memorial Avenue, the region's largest shelter for individuals experiencing homelessness, and as the director of Lynchburg Praise, an ecumenical network of local clergy. His ministry has also included leadership roles with regional and international nonprofit organizations.Bishop Younger's passion for global missions has taken him to more than a dozen countries, where he preaches, teaches, mentors leaders, and supports communities through the B. Younger Academy. This international initiative equips children and families through Christian education.As an author, he has published the devotional Keep Going, which has reached readers worldwide and was translated into Portuguese.
